BREAKING: South Philadelphia Gun Store owner shoots & kills one of 3 or 4 armed looters who pointed gun at him first. Lock on gate cut with bolt cutters. Back door shattered & kicked in. Gun owner was on high alert after earlier break in this week. Saw first guy point gun so he defended himself!!!!!

What would have happened had to gotten the guns and ammo, I wonder? If facts cited are true he saved many lives.
This. Steal someones property, be prepared to lose your life. It's disgusting this isn't the case in many places.
No argument from me...but there will be from others on the left.
For the same reason its permissible to shoot anyone attempting to attack and overpower you while you are carrying a firearm. You know, what they tried to hype up with their infamous jog-in-boots with his hammer and his drive-by building inspection and architectural analysis abilities.
But more far so, trying to rob a gun store raises the stakes dramatically if the robbers are not stopped with force, so preventing them from doing so must be just as important in proportion. Which means using force that would normally be excessive or overwhelming.
