I dont know much about those places honestly. However :

round rock is near austin and austin is filled with MANY liberals, antifa, proud communist, socialist. think of austin like reddit/r/politics - but in real life. THAT SAID - ive never spent real time in round rock. not sure what the culture is like there.

new braunfels is kinda a tourist city. lots of people coming in the summer time to float the river, etc. lots of drunk college kids, etc. new braunfels is near san antonio , which is a big city with a big hispanic population.
