The only place I still visiting from time to time was my city's local subreddit. There were decent posts about events, restaurants, local news, etc.
The past week it's been used almost exclusively to organize and coordinate riots all over town. I'm burning off what internet points I have left there to troll and waste peoples time before I am inevitably banned. It's pretty easy work because a 30 second effort generates 100+ downvotes and 50+ angry responses.
WaPo wrote an article about T_D so reddit had to bow their head and comply, that's how it seemingly has to work. WaPo or NYT did not write about all these other calls to violence so who cares.
