I wish I could have recorded the conversation, as I was out to dinner with some old friends of mine, who all probably donate as much if not more to the CA democrat establishments more than I do in scale to Trump directly. A couple know that I like Trump, but none know the real truth about me. A few of them work for big tech like I do.

They [personally] feel that if Trump shut down the internet for "our safety" to try and slow the riots, it would actually let them fester as folks would get less news and think less bad is happening at first.

I did bring up this is the first I heard of anyone bringing up that idea, and it could work or backfire. None of them would say that if, or denied that it is a sentiment common in their globalist tech firms.

I continue to be the frog dressed as a snake for a bit to see where this goes.
