This is the point of demanding people ‘give up power’. It’s 100% ambitious. You’re never right and never will be. Figure it out, the goal post moves. Not sympathizing with somebody or some thing and treat people equally are not linked to giving into demands.
This fellow needs to find a new line of work. He's unsuitable for police work. He's not doing "crowd control". The crowd is controlling him.
