Gay doesn't bother me as much as LGBTQ pride and victimhood groups.

If you are gay, you can't change that. I believe conversion therapy is a poorly implemented operant conditioning that will not work and will do more harm than good. I think its evil to force on someone. I think if you are and you want to live your life, I dont care what you do in your home.

But so much of the community is not about living their own lives how they see fit, but forcing not only acceptance but submission on everyone else. It's not about your life anymore with the lgbts, it's about how I want to live mine.

Pride is merely a symptom of that

I remember the days when my online liberal friends first started putting their sexualities on their social media profiles, and wondering to myself why they felt the need to constantly remind people that they're gay, like it's the only aspect of their identities that matters to them.

If I have same sex or transgender orientations, and I would like to minimize them so I can have an opposite sex relationship or continue the one I"m already in, or learn how to appreciate my birth sex and eliminate the drive to transition, why in holy hell shouldn't I be allowed to hire a therapist to help me in than endeavor?

forced conversion therapy is wrong. Operant conditioning causes issues if done poorly.

If you wanna try, go for it. Your body, your mind, your choice. But go into it knowing the risks and of your own free will

"Forced" conversion therapy? I doubt a lot of it is forced anymore, or has been in decades.

There was a Jewish practice once that was labeled with the conversion therapy thing. It had a disclaimer that let you know that success was not 100% guaranteed (which is pretty much the base with every form of therapy) And was completely voluntary.

Big Gay sued and shut them down.
