Libtards that condone violence against our brave men in blue don't realize what our society would look like without them.

Fucking dumb pieces of shit.

This is the point they miss. We've spent more than two thousand years of philosophy and war (give or take) trying to figure out and implement a fair system of laws. Ours ain't perfect, but it's pretty good. We, on the other hand, have a lot less patience than the US justice system.

I've been thinking about the precedent this can set... Are we going to burn our cities and towns to the ground now every time we see something bad happen?

If you let the toddlers get what they want when they loot and riot... they're going to learn that looting and rioting yields results.

3
Madman2020 3 points ago +3 / -0

I've heard pretty much these exact words from my 4 & 6 year old kids when I'm putting them in their rooms for timeout.

These looters/rioters/wannabe revolutionaries need to get spanked. My kids sure as hell would get their assess smacked if I found them breaking windows and trying to start a fire.

At some point Trump will just have to suck it up and smack them down.

LA leftists have put forward a budget ironically named "the people's budget" which proposes to allocate only 5% of the entire city budget toward law enforcement. Compared to the current 53% of the budget going toward law enforcement.

Defunding the police would be apocalyptic for Southern California. Law enforcement heroes maintain the balance between gang infested warzones and innocent low-income civilians. This would be devastating for the lives in black communities as well.

Anarchy, senseless violence, destruction of property, murder, rape, trying to burn children alive...

LAPD was against gun stores and freedom during covid. I trained with a few of them back in the day and there definitely are good ones that I’d do anything to help but they took a stance against the 2nd and that wasn’t cool.

12

Not sure if I'm seeing it wrong, but it looks like the officer used his body to shield the car from being splattered with soy. So that's a man, in body armor, running at full speed smashing in to that car.

7

LOL! splattered with soy! too good

7

That may have deployed the airbag.

3
CuomoisaMassMurderer 3 points ago +4 / -1

Quite an impact, no doubt. I hope the cop's ok. Even with a helmet, I wouldn't be surprised if he had a concussion.

59
BTFO 59 points ago +59 / -0

If you are gonna run from the cops, you might want to make sure you aren't goofy and slow as hell first. 😂 Great job officers.

38
ClownTamer 38 points ago +39 / -1

He looked pretty fast, the cop at the end was just a beast.

67
BoughtByBloomberg 67 points ago +68 / -1

Nah this is ancient hunting strategy. Called a relay endurance hunt.

You'd have runners spook the deer in one direction, run after them for 2-3 miles. Deer tire out, then new runners who were hiding up ahead would take their place. Repeat process until exhausted animals collapse and you move in for the kill.

Cop chased the dude till he was winded. Fresh cop comes in from his car and sprints the last bit. Beautiful to see.

17
ClownTamer 17 points ago +17 / -0

Hadn’t thought of that. Good to know!

9
CuomoisaMassMurderer 9 points ago +12 / -3

This is not how humanity survived, hunting deer. Paleo deer hunting was walking. Deer have a quirk with their heart, they'll be overtaken by humans walking fast sooner or later. Or humans have a quirk with our heart that enables us to have great endurance, even though we're slow af compared to most other animals.

"Fresh cop" is WAY faster than original cop, even when fresh. Totally different running styles. "Fresh cop" could probably run a longass way and STILL be faster than original cop when fresh. Would hate to be in a position to have to find "fresh cop's" weakness, he may in fact be a beast. With a concussion, despite wearing a helmet. And wrenched neck. And bruised back/shoulder. He took one helluva impact. Hope he's ok.

12
BoughtByBloomberg 12 points ago +12 / -0

There are multiple hunting strategies of course but this is one of them.

You have regular endurance hunting where a medium speed jogger will tire out a single deer. You have funneling. You have dog assisted quarry where the dog will run and corner/tire the prey.

There are as many ways of hunting as humans have thought of ideas. In forests it's traps, snares and other gadgets. In the north it's skies. On the steppes it's running. Fast cop is fast, but could he be fast for the same distance?

PS: The quirk with the heart is overheating. Most animals can't sweat but humans can so we don't overheat easily.

5
CuomoisaMassMurderer 5 points ago +6 / -1

I overheat easily today! Heat wave even up here in the frozen tundra

That sure turned the animal kingdom on its head when dogs decided to team up with people. Here's how that went down: one wolf says to the other, yeah I know they can't track for shit and are slow af, but did you see what they did last week? They brought down a MAMMOTH! We need to get in on that action.

Then he turns to a human and calls out, "hey, you with the thumbs!"

Jokes aside, here's a fun fact: with all the technological advances in ski making in the last decades, (parabolic shape, rocker/vertical shape to stay afloat in deep powder) skis made in prehistoric times had all that. They were just WAY long and super heavy. Their climbing skins were GREAT. Who needs a buns of steel video?

2

2

18

7

I'm not retarded and so I'm not going to break the law to try it out, but a part of me does wish I could simulate the chance of getting away and see how it plays out

edit: it's like people wishing for a zombie apocalypse to see how they would survive, don't be haters. a humble brag is a sub 1hr30 half mar.

5
EvanOnTheFly 5 points ago +5 / -0

Better make sure you can run a half Marathon at sub 8 min mile with 6min mile sprints stuck in there, while having the agility of an NFL receiver for those close calls.

4
Mostprobably 4 points ago +4 / -0

pb is 1:29 half mar. I ain't messing around.

1
CuomoisaMassMurderer 1 point ago +2 / -1

If my math is right that means 6:48 mile AVERAGE, over 13 miles.

WOW.

Compared to what EvanOnTheFly said, you absolutely smoke that. Pb on 1 mile? 100 yds?

Sounds like there's not many cops in the Nation that'd have a chance to catch you. (Not that they'd ever have any reason to, I'm sure)

2
Mostprobably 2 points ago +2 / -0

I don't have timed stats for those, but closest on record is 18min 5km

I've ran cross-country and played soccer my whole life, and still do to this day.

I trained hard for that pb, and it was a great feeling to have the hard work pay off; appreciated.

0
CuomoisaMassMurderer 0 points ago +1 / -1

That's under 6:00 miles, 3 in a row. 5:47.5 each on average, per my calculations.

In a league where every player is required to play the entire game, you would dominate! That's a lifetime of hard work and dedication.

After watching a couple live videos .... you see 200 "peaceful" protestors watching 10 "anarchists" tearing down barricades, and doing NOTHING. When the barricades come down, you see about 35 (or more) of them go rush in to express their solidarity with merchandise liberation. Nobody does or says anything. Meanwhile, everyone else either watches or continues chanting hateful slogans like "FUCK TARGET!"

I don't think they'll find that funny when someone says "fuck target" while looking down the scope of their AR-15.

2
CROMAGA 2 points ago +2 / -0

My biggest issue is how they don’t see their hypocrisy. They’re calling for the heads of the other three cops for not stopping Chauvin. They say the officers are complicit since they just stood there. So, if there are 5 protesters breaking into shops while peaceful protesters are there, isn’t it their duty to stop them as well?

2
FuckRioters 2 points ago +2 / -0

Exactly, so many people doing absolute jack shit. I think an organized group of 10 to 15 people could easily go around citizens-arresting rioters & then having police clean up the ones we leave zip-tied. It might even encourage actual peaceful protesters to also put a stop to it, rather than being tempted to join into the looting. It might even prevent the police from using so much tear-gas and rubber bullets on them, if the protesters could "police" their own shit.

One of the reasons I cannot go near protests that may turn out non-peaceful in anyway, is because I've historically been the person who protects others when everyone else stands around doing nothing. It's practically instinctual for me.

One such incident, two women had physically attacked 5 people in multiple incidents at a party of about 40 people, while everyone kept asking them to nicely leave. I didn't know about any of it, and saw two of them try attack a 6th person, so I tacked the first and held her down. The 2nd attacked me from behind, and I managed to grab her too and hold them both down. Nobody else did ANYTHING. And then all the people at the party were asking me to let them go!

I can't stand by very easily, and in a riot situation, that means I'm getting mobbed. It's better to play this one out smart, where I have a tactical and legal advantage. Unfortunately, that's why our cities are on fire. Trespassers will be shot would put an end to this riot real quick.

3
FuckRioters 3 points ago +3 / -0

INAL, but property damages caused by rioting typically exceed the value of the items stolen. I'm not sure if that's factored in, or if there are separate charges for rioting than mere theft.

3
Lispychicken 3 points ago +3 / -0

There are many factors that go into rebuilding after rioting damages that people fail to realize. Just for starters, if there is fire damage, you need an inspection. That is not gonna happen quickly. Inventory restock. Any internals needing repaired or replaced. Also, insurance adjusters coming out to get info..

These turn arounds are not days out.. they are months out.

1
FuckRioters 1 point ago +1 / -0

Yeah, there are a LOT of costs involved. Hell, just having these non-peaceful protests nearby causes businesses thousands of dollars in losses, due to shutting down the business, boarding up, removing items, etc, even there is no looting or physical damage to that business.

Like you said, if there are fires, that's a whole other issue that may take months to fix. Given the entire country is going through this fucked up shit, it's not like a hurricane, where you can concentrate the nations resources, businesses, and labor to rebuild a single area.

1
LyingPonySoldier 1 point ago +1 / -0

Nah, not necessary. They had him under control. Arrest him. Make sure he has a record now.

Senseless violence not helpful at this juncture, even though it would be fun for us, and even moreso for them after all this bs.

2
NuclearDreams 2 points ago +2 / -0

It was a joke. Have you seen Arrested Development? The baton blow isn't ever necessary in any scenes in the show it just adds to the comedy of the situation (which is usually a poorly and hilariously contrived escape attempt by one of the main characters on the show).
