Clinton County, I live there and it's mainly due to influence on Plattsburgh from Bernie's stomping ground Burlington VT, which is somewhat of a sister city directly across the lake. We always go blue but came very close to tipping red in 2016. I think we'll go red in 2020.
If NY was red, I'd totally consider moving up there. But I can't see it ever happening in my lifetime. Though TBH with how bad things have been in the last few months, I'm finding it hard imagining anything is going to stay red in my lifetime right now.
I'm not gonna lie, I'm worried in a very similar way to the way I was on election night. I couldn't bring myself to watch any of the results. Instead my wife and I did a movie night instead, and only peeked at our phones sparingly. Little did we know what was coming, for better or worse.
I so hope this works out the same way. I want to see the left get so creamed that we never go back to it for generations.
Know what I was doing on election night? Sleeping. I didn't give a single fuck back then and I didn't vote at all. But I have since awoken. So have millions of others. You have much more than you did 4 years ago.
I live here !! There are many trump supporters here I would love for us to flip it red
Why the hell is north east blue? Montreal influence?
You also get that in Northern Minnesota. Probably some cancuck influence.
That's all I could think of
Clinton county. Largest employers are probably state and federal government. Prison, cbp and state university.
Thanks, didn't know there was a State Uni there. Always surprising when a place that rural goes blue
Plattsburgh.
Yeah, I checked. I used to know people in Franklin County
I’ve got family up there. It’s also only a short ferry/car ride away from Burlington (Bernieland).
:)
My guess based on absolutely nothing except intuition:
Rich People 2nd home land where they continually buy up down and out people's land.
Maybe, but it's WAY up in the sticks, about 8 hours from NYC
Long Islander here. This is exactly right. NYC people don't drive 8 hours to get to an upstate home.
Thanks:) Another guy suggested probably due to State Uni in Plattsburg

Thanks:) I hope you do!
Upstate here; we are not alone. The cesspool of NYC and the other major cities of NY state are not the entirety of the population.
Furthermore, I reject the whole move out of NY state idea. I don’t cow tow to these liberals.

Wait and see. Pepe Pharma can't manufacture the pills fast enough to satisfy demand.

FLIPNYRED
New York would be a great place to live if NYC was cut off and allowed to float off into the Atlantic.
I'm doing my best to turn one of those blue dots red. Lord, give me strength.
WE NEED TO SECEDE!
After the election, any state that remains blue should be forced to secede and walled off.
I meant upstate needs to secede from NYC. The Island can come, they’re pretty based.
Trump should run for Gov in 2024 and Giuliani for NYC Mayor. That should fix things for a while.
Looks impressive but means nothing. Look what's been running the store for the past generation
I live in Rensselaer county. Its mixed out here.
Too close to Albany.
Suffolk supporter checking-in. Hopefully recent events can get New York to possibly flip Red.
Make New York Great Again!
That actually is the county by county map of 2016 haha.
