Yeah, that's pretty much the whole reason I'd changed my tone on it, like you said not really a downside. Everyone would have at least at one point in their life been in shape, had a little order, learned about weapons, and I guess since we are talking modern day being forced to learn to disconnect from the world of social media for a while (wow would that be a difference).

We might even get the benefit of having some of those scientists that would have shunned the military to realize they like it and stick around. Then we have better people in the career military.
