I don’t wanna sound violent, just feel prepared. But we’ve got a 9pm curfew. Peaceful protests lasted a few hours then by about 10, turned mildly violent last 2 nights, but slightly escalated last night. I live about 2 miles as the crow flies from this downtown area in what most considered a historic and I guess “prestigious” neighborhood. The first violent rioters and looters that sets foot in my yard will be swiftly sniped from my second story, and then I guess I would continue until I ran out of ammo. I’m not leaving my property, and I’ll call the police but if it gets that bad I doubt they’d respond. They got everybody on this I think, county and city (and this is a relatively little town). But I will say, idk all the damage, but protesters were out, some loser threw a rock at a police car and instantly gas and rubber bullets were out. So I highly doubt it’ll get out of hand. I’ve had my minor gripes with our PD, but they’re handling this very well despite any “negative publicity”. Stay safe out there!

I've lost count of the number of people I've had to explain who Antifa is over the last 3 days. It seems most people (on the left even) don't know who they are, much less support them.
