Keep in mind that one of the very first, core military tactic is "Divide and Conquer". The reverse - "Smearing them all as sinners" is a more political tactic.

There are several wings: "Agitators", "Protestors", and "Opportunists". (When I say 'protestor', I'm often talking the clueless lib 'I just want to hold my candle', we can argue numbers, but just saying there are some)
A solid chunk of the "Agitators" are deliberately chosen to try to spark "It's so unfair - these white racists are here causing this!!!" That's half the race-war right there. And we didn't do a farking thing! (And, by we, I mean you lot calling yourselves white, I refuse to belong to a group containing the French. ;) )
What happens if Trump activates the military (whenever the Governors are shown to be completely inept, and probably after a couple days of "Nice peace in DC") and simply completely jumps down ANTIFA's throat the way you'd raid ISIS. (With, probably, a lot less bombing, a lot more simply showing up unexpected at mommy's house.) (YES, I'm fully aware that's just some slice of the agitators!)

I'd think the press would almost immediately flip to the "White Hitler" narrative. But ... all the film they've got that they're going to attempt to convince us with non-stop is ... little white soyboys that were out vandalizing shit.

I don't disagree that certain groups have identified the easily manipulated. I'll leave it to them to answer why certain groups are easily emotionally charged.
However, Antifa had nothing to do with the LA riots, or Ferguson, or the "FUCK YOUR WHITE TEARS" movement. Willing members of minority groups have chosen to embrace Marxist ideas as "Critical Race Theory". and we have let them turn our Public Schools into extremist factories.
This is a war of ideas, yet so far, all the talking points and pleas for unitiy have done nothing to keep them from tantrums that inevitably lead to violence, destruction, and loss of life..

If you jump on, say, BLM's case the way I want ANTIFA jumped on - it would be full-on active race war immediately.
But.
If you can jump one WHITE slice you know the Democrats are using as pawns hard enough that you inevitably get leads in all sorts of very inconvenient directions...
Suddenly you probably end with the bulk of even BLM cheering ...
This is not a war of ideas any longer. This is literally a counter-insurgency. This is a solid shot to (somewhat) cleanly take an entire faction off the board.
What did they use ANTIFA for? What are they using them for now ? For a long time we've heard about "The whites are doing XYZ" well ... which whites? The answer is "Well, teh ones they paid to do it.
IOW: ANTIFA is used to stir shit that increases racial tensions and keeps this shit going . They can go. I don't care if they're purple.
