Had colleagues today already using the hashtag #handmaidstale at the very notion of the President ordering further National Guard deployments. Nevermind that he's leaving it to the governors as appropriate (for now), of course.

They are actually salivating at the idea of part of their oppression fantasy coming true (but in way that also involves a very real ongoing degradation of their mental health). Sad!
