It won't affect them at all if all claims are denied. All the more reason to defend your property, most policies exclude anything along these lines.

So that's what I'm wondering. I heard that a lot of these businesses were informed before hand and told that insurance would cover them and i guess if they let their business burn they'd be woke or some shit ?

What happens if and when that was all a lie. If all these claims are going to be made at the same time imagine how long it'll take. Can these businesses really afford to go another 6 months without being open?

Tbh most of them were probably down the shitter already anyway. And if they can't produce records showing income I bet that reduces the claim. Same with inventory. If it's all burned, do they have records? If they're all electronic and stored in the cloud, that part should be good.

But if the fine print gives the insurance company an escape clause for "insurrection, act of war," etc, I think they're SOL.

"Just brick and mortar" my ASS! "The right to life, liberty and and the pursuit of happiness." Government did NOT defend those rights! It's criminally negligent, at the very least. And yes I do mean these fuckers need to be charged, criminally and civilly. For denying medicine to sick people, this, and their every other act of tyranny. Once that's all filed as class actions we should physically remove them all from Office via civilian's arrest which is legal as long as we're stopping a felony in progress. Which murder certainly is. Where the Governor is ok focus on the most tyrannical Mayor in the State.

Won't be pleasant for many small businesses selling high value/high theft items.

Deductibles will be raised and tenants made responsible for more damage issues.

Around 25 years ago, I noticed a new requirement in many commercial leases that required tenants to buy a separate policy for plate glass window replacement. This was largely due to gangs/crews etching store windows with their tags.

I'm sure they will spike quite a bit particularly in cities. If the insurance company is replacing buildings left and right someone will have to pay for it. Which means unfortunately us responsible people that didn't loot and burn things down will.

So, it's basically socialism. I just realized I am going to end up helping them all buy TVs and Jordans. Ugh.
