Honestly, Iβm pretty sure that time it was Clutch.
And they didnβt even play Blood and Thunder.
They apparently only played it every other night. On our night, Hinds came out while Clutch played and jammed with them on slide guitar. It was cool, but fuck man come on.
Saw Mastodon like five times tho. Love that band.
Saw GWAR in the late 80βs when my buddyβs band opened for them. The club held less than a hundred people. I had no idea who they were, but I decided to stick around when I saw the roadies covering the stage monitors with towels. A few minutes later, two hotties came dancing out onto the stage followed by a dwarf in a diaper with a huge fake cock squirting jizz everywhere. I was speechless and stayed to the end, lol.
Probably my favorite live shows of all time, by far.
And only Brockie can really pull it off.
We were gonna go to the GWAR-B-Q the year he died but werenβt able to.
Would have been pretty great to see the Viking funeral of Oderus Urungus. I got to meet them back in 2001 at a comic book convention when they were pushing their new comic series. Hung out until lunch time and they brought us back and everyone changed out of their gear. It was pretty awesome meeting Oderus and also Dave Brockie. Man he was such a friendly dude. RIP
I named my cat Oderus (Odie for short), and got a tattoo a few years ago of my him drawn up sort of like a Disney Aristocat, but dressed up in all Oderus gear. Turned out super well.
Ah man, GWAR is on my bucket (of stage blood) list. Was finally going to get to see Rhapsody, my nerdy metal guilty pleasure, until the COVID bullshit happened. Now I'm wondering how long I'll have to wait to even see another show?

Clutch is rad, that's a good show.
The set list hanging on the right is from a GWAR show at Mr. Smalls in Pittsburgh. Probably like 2013 maybe?

Me too brother. I have VIP meet and greets to see Megadeth and meet Dave in October. $350+ after taxes. (Edit: a piece. Lol)
