I'm in LA, and I'm watching LAPD actually handle this shit pretty well. I wonder how GEOTUS convinced Garcetti and Newsom to use the National Guard. Art of the Deal is no joke.
I thought they might be overwhelmed by the huge numbers I saw in Hollywood and Downtown today. But they actually handled. Minimal rioting, minimal looting. Less car chases than yesterday. I hope they use these quiet nights to go after some of these fucking organizers, then follow the money. I'm ready for some heavy indictments.
Praying the weekend doesn't bring too much chaos.
I predict the DOJ and state governments will make sure none of the criminals face any significant consequences.
