I'd ask them if Obedience meant turning in illegal aliens to ICE. I'd ask them if obedience meant not rioting, and if the priest was going to strongly condemn the looters, the rioters and those falsely accusing others of racism. If the priest said no to that, then I'd ask who they were being obedient to, as it certainly wasn't God.

I'm honestly just sad and feeling beytrayed. I got back from traveling and I thought that since the restrictions lifted I could start going to Church again. Fuck it! Apparently a Big Mac is more important than the Lord to them!

That's what I think too, they literally tried to put in a short term pope and realized he was gonna fuck everything up so they just put the lid on him and put this piece of shit in charge. (Dont convert people... omg)
You know exactly why, he came in saw what was happening in the church and was like wtf and they told him disappear in the night or get disappeared
Go in without a mask. Make a scene. Tell them GOD told you not to wear a mask. See what happens.
I drove from my farm, through the suburbs, to a doctor's appointment downtown and back today. I saw 3 people wearing masks. Everyone's over it, no matter their politics. Saw plenty of soyboys without them.
Forgive me, for I am not a man of much faith.
But I believe if I were religious my duty would be to God and not the clergy.
I don't go to any place that demands a mask. Thank God there aren't many.
Coming from a baptist background having some person try tell me what is holy and not and what is acceptable or not just blows my damn mind.
But they do all their deeds to be noticed by men; for they broaden their phylacteries and lengthen the tassels of their garments.
Masks are the new phylacteries.
