Has our entire country taken leave of their senses? This guy should have kept driving, these mobs are violent. The United States of America needs a serious reckoning with itself. These looters should all be shot. There's no right to loot.

Can confirm. Based truck-driver friend says they're taught to avoid major steering movements when panic braking, I.e, the person in front of them is toast.

Also, if you see spiraling smoke coming from a truck in front of you then be prepared to stop or maneuver away. The smoke is brake pad material being instantly vaporized under 80,000+ lbs of force during a panic stop.

Uh, of course he's not charged, because legally driving on a road is legal. The protesters blocking the road was what was illegal. Plus the driver even stopped, so he didn't drive 'through' protesters, he actually stopped, and my understanding is the mob assaulted him. So, will the assaulters be charged? Why does it claim he 'plowed' through a crowd. I don't think he hit anybody. It's possible a lunatic jumped in front of the truck, but they make it seem like the trucker was a Muslim running people over.
Pretty sure if the guy driving a tanker had wanted to hurt protestors, he would've succeeded.
