Honestly even the biggest nerds in my unit in the military have more street cred than any rapper I've ever heard of. We got in more fights, had more tattoos, drank more alcohol, partied harder, shot more people, did more drive-by's, did more home invasions, fucked more shit up, all without ever fucking with a law abiding citizen once. Best gang I've ever seen.

Thats what I do... I have taken more drugs and booze than a rock star. Literally check my post history I have had over 2000 MDMA pills for sure in my life and drank GHB for 4 years daily. Now I only touch Psychedelics

I'm happy I joined because I like where I am now, and I wouldn't be there if it wasn't for that. But it ends pretty bad for a lot of people. Every vet I know that talks to someone who says they wished they joined but they didn't all usually has the same thing to say. You don't have to join, just go out there and be a good person. Find something to do and be good at it. Be a good neighbor and parent and worker and leave shit better than when you find it. That is doing as much as anyone else is and is just as important as anything else anyone is doing.
