Thought I'd share a conversation I had with a friend I've known for over 20 years. I was watching CNN last night for a good laugh, as Cuomo was quoting Tupac(seriously), I sent a Snapchat of this to my confused liberal friends. One friends response was "I hope you're strapped for this tyrannical government"

Curious as to where this was going I said "been strapped dog"

The mental gymnastics was actually quite impressive. He went on to shame me for not exercising my 2A rights on this tyrannical government. He couldn't fathom that the president called in support to help with the rioting taking place. He believes that we(Trump and 2A supporters) should be standing up to the cops/Nat guard/and military for trying to keep peace. His take was that cops and the military that Trump brought in are shooting peaceful protesters. "Even the press are getting shot(with rubber bullets and tear gas) and they are literally allowed to be everywhere."

He believes that 95% of the protesters are peaceful. So my response was " ok well that 5% has done quite a bit of damage." Without ranting on any further, it ended with him saying that white people care more about looting and rioting taking place than years of of unarmed black people being killed by police. I tried to explain to him but it didn't go anywhere.

Please note that this is the same friend who runs around calling our Indian friends brown and makes Indian jokes nonstop.

As the title says, TOO FAR GONE.
