Black people in this country DO have it rough. They ARE given very little chance to make it. This is not controversial. If you want to have this conversation you have to meet these people at their truth.
The reason for this is where it gets controversial. But if you dont meet these people at their reality, you cannot guide them to the truth.
Also, “meeting people at their truths” is bullshit jargon. You can be empathetic and HEAR them, but no, you don’t “meet them their truths” when they are misguided. Oh, I’m not saying they don’t, BUT they are still better off then fucking Africa! Our poorest poor are better off then most of the world. The African American community has been ruined like the Native American community by our government (Democrats). There does come a point though that you can’t legislate and fix issues for people that don’t want to fix it themselves. Coddling obvious has not worked! I have more experience with Native American reservations than black communities, but it’s a fucking train wreck caused by poor government policy, that unfortunately can’t now be fixed with simply “good” policy.
