Now the question becomes -- how fast could she do it under duress...
That's why I'm telling her, she needs to practice, practice, practice, until she doesn't even have to think about it.
(I do too... I've been focusing on reloading, trying to make it mechanical. I figure we're at the point where there's merely incremental improvements to be had from focusing on accuracy. The real value is in speed of fire and reloading.)
TACTICAL ROOMBA DEPLOYED.
TIME TO CLEAN UP THE STREETS.
+1 Yes came to say that
How many hands do you have?
6 between me and my two sons. Oldest is a Marine and the youngest has been shooting since he was 8yo.
I have a knock-off and people mock it. They have no idea how much dirt it finds and how much time it saves.
We have three dogs so the little bastard is a must.
I wanna boogie with this guy
Over the weekend took my wife to the shooting range so she could practice dropping a magazine from her AR15 and reloading.
Loaded three to six rounds per magazine...and put ten magazines in her reach.
At first, she was having trouble noticing an empty chamber...squeezing the trigger with nothing.
At first she was taking 15-20 seconds to switch out a magazine.
When we were done she was confidently getting in done in under 10 seconds...her best was 7 seconds.
I'm sure OP knows this but I want to make sure everyone else does as well.
It's not enough to have arms...
You must practice with your tools!!!
You’re only as good as your training.
Absolutely!!!

Definitely no reason not to practice mag dumps. You don’t even need a range.
For some reason I’m fascinated by photos of guns this week.
I can't make it out, but is that a Gurkah Kukri on the top right of the left chair?
That’s the dump bag and leg holster on my action pistol rig.
Ohhhhhhh no, I got excited there for a moment. I was hoping.
I keep the Kukri in my go bag.
Doh!
