All part of the War. They won't stop till we make them stop.

Let's create our own competitors.

SquiggyMcPepe 89 points ago +99 / -10

The problem with that is it creates echo boxes and a tribal mechanic of raiding the other sides sites. There is no middle ground for influencing those on the fence.

Plus I'm a future businessman so I'm not going to let them take me down.

Why is snapchat so worried their users might be red-pilled?

I'll tell you why. Because they are part of the red insurrection going on. They've been gaslighting our young and most vulnerable for over a decade now.

3

The narrative the push is heavily cucked! Their "news" snippets are so washed of facts and simply rely on emotional response. Tencent is a massive advertiser on their platform, hell they advertise everywhere

17
FreeBased1 17 points ago +17 / -0

Can't POTUS Trump simply "snapchat" (whatever that means) from the official White House Account?

We know they have been doing big shenanigans with twitter and Trump's personal account (even though they apparently have to archive all of his tweets because he is President??)

10
duvalpede 10 points ago +13 / -3

They'll just censor that like they did at Twitter. They're pushing him to be a dictator and I'm wholly OK with that. Wield power, Trump. Crush all of these motherfuckers.

12

the right needs to stop being so scared of THEMSELVES

they object less when Democrats have power than when Republicans do..

it's like they're scared of their own shadow..

Ahh yes, the president that won a democratic election stacked against him, yes that president, using the powers 100% granted to him as is his right, is a "diCTaToR".

regulate big tech.

You want bureaucrats in DC to regulate big tech? This won't turn out the way you think it will.

26
ClownTamer 26 points ago +26 / -0

The real answer is more towards deregulating them. That’s what Trump’s 230 push is about. If you want to operate as a platform with the legal immunity that allows, you cannot operate as a publisher. I don’t want the people that created the DMV to run anything.

4
spezisacuckold 4 points ago +4 / -0

What really needs to happen is we need to pile on the class action lawsuits against these tech companies BIG LEAGUE. Like, yesterday. This will force them in court to either:

  1. Self-classify as a publisher per the guidance of the Executive Order ... which means they lose their platform immunity.

  2. Self-classify as a platform per the guidance of the Executive Order and allow freedom of speech... which means they lose their publisher liability.

  3. Say 230 is unconstitutional and anti-First Amendment which means it needs to be scrapped... which means they would also lose their platform immunity.

If they're stubborn as fuck (which they are) they'll likely choose Option 1... which means we can sue the everloving shit out of them because they cannot possibly 100% moderate these huge sites, some things will leak through the cracks which we can use to show bad faith, biased moderation and sue them into the ground until they (hopefully) change.

4
Necrovoter 4 points ago +5 / -1

You want bureaucrats in DC to regulate big tech? This won't turn out the way you think it will.

The DNC already has been doing this for years, one step at a time. Yes, they need to be strictly regulated, and it needs to be done now. In a few more months it may be too late to reign in the damage they are already doing with their control over social media.

All the people worried about the democrats using this against us won't have to worry if we don't do anything. The DNC will win, and they will still further regulate big tech and they will begin rounding people up for non SJW opinions as they do in the UK.

WAKE UP, they aren't going to play nice just because we do. Thinking they will somehow become worse is Jeb Bush appeasement type thinking. The leftists aren't using logic. They aren't using the rule of law. They are driven by pure emotion and whatever they want.

You could honestly state how tall you were, and they might call it hate speech, ban your account and throw you in jail for height privilege.

It's time to regulate the crap out of big tech.

3
FormerGraveheart 3 points ago +4 / -1

I've been pointing this out again and again, that the Dems will do whatever they feel like regardless of what we do. I don't understand why so many here are so fucking dense that they don't get it.

6
kekkk 6 points ago +7 / -1

They really should be treated like modern day utilities.

2
TheMadManDidItAgain 2 points ago +2 / -0

I hate that this is actually the case. Much like Rockefeller's oil monopolies causing regulation on preventing monopolies. It is one of those necessary regulations.

This is why a free market capitalistic system is the best system... it isn't perfect (ie, monopolies need regulation, big tech), but it is the best that gives the most opportunity for the most amount of people to gain wealth.

9
SquiggyMcPepe 9 points ago +9 / -0

Oh I'm not saying don't try but whatever is done it's going to have to have broad appeal. If its branded a haven for conservative and such then it will add to the problems. Reddit didn't start to crack down heavily until thedonald willingly left and came here. Now there is barely a single place in reddit you can escape the leftist instigators and commie mods.

Yes but only voting will help at this point. Or a general boog. Time will tell.

Geez. I got banned twice yesterday on Reddit simply for sharing stats regarding black violence. Do you really think we would be treated fairly there?

2
SquiggyMcPepe 2 points ago +2 / -0

It's not the point of being treated fairly. It's the point of forcing them to censor us so the ones in the middle can see. Now with most conservatives gone from reddit they have went full commie.

2
Nibba 2 points ago +2 / -0

Who gives a flying fuck about that site? So little of the traffic on that site is American anyway. Then to top it off, not a large portion of people even use sites like these. I mean I guess if you feel wasting your time fighting the good fight on your keyboard is worthwhile, you do you I guess.

1
americathegr888 1 point ago +1 / -0

The middle isn't as big as you think it is. Most people have picked their sides already. Chasing optics has never worked and will continue to not work as long as we do it.

The MSM is wholly owned by globalists. They will never give us positive optics, so measuring what tactics we should employ against their yardstick means automatically losing every time.

3
MaxineWaters4Prez 3 points ago +3 / -0

As stupid as it seems, that's how it is.

We shouldn't NEED multiple polarized places, "want" yeah, but "NEED" no.

It would be awesome to have a place where all opinions could be heard. But we don't have anything like that. Social media and dinosaur media are all lefty. All orange man bad, all the time.

3
CmonPeopleGetReal 3 points ago +3 / -0

There is also no middle ground for influencing when they censor, quarantine, and nazi-moderate public forums that are meant to be apolitical.

1
SquiggyMcPepe 1 point ago +1 / -0

Yes but it exposes them when we force them to do it. We are after the hearts and minds of the independents and moderates. The crazed leftists will never turn and will have to be defeated completely.

3
Vegans4Trump 3 points ago +3 / -0

there is already no middle ground on any existing social media. We should just get rid of it all, I don't think it's even possible anymore to create a space on the internet and not have it become an echo chamber

19
sun_wolf 19 points ago +19 / -0

We tried that. They shut them down.

Also, our Enemy controls the printing of the money supply. What that means is anything that we build that becomes popular with the mainstream will just be bought by people who have the ability to print money out of thin air. How is it possible to fairly compete with that?

Remember, sites like YouTube and Reddit and Twitter and Snapchat did not start off evil. Instead the Enemy waited to see which sites would become the de facto standard and THEN purchased those and hijacked them. Anything we build that reached that level of popularity would go through the same process.

Most people, no matter how patriotic, are going to sell their website when these people come and offer 15 billion for it. And the ones who don’t accept the money and refuse to hand over the site are threatened. The ones who don’t submit to the threats are simply murdered and their sites taken over.

Building our own sites is worth doing, but it isn’t actually solving this process. It is just delaying the problem.

3
johnrambo 3 points ago +3 / -0

I think that’s what happened to MySpace. They just spammed the site to death so fakebook could take over the social media world

3
FliesTheFlag 3 points ago +3 / -0

MySpace did sell for something like half a billion just a few years after they launched, just like YouTube did. That site went to shit cause all the stupid glitter and dumbshit they let people put on their pages.

Simply leaving and doing own own thing is appeasement.

Ask pre-WW2 Europe how appeasement worked to with Germany.

We moved here after Reddit became so toxic that our moderators were removed.

That said, there was a new post on The_Donald the other day. It's still there, just mostly asleep and waiting for some of the Reddit stupidity to end, or be forced to end by new laws.

Won't work because they don't care about profit right now they want to destroy Trump and us by proxy. Even if everyone who supports Trump stopped buying they would still have enough sales from Trump haters to stay afloat and still make some money. This is why the msm is imploding on itself because the six billionaires who own it all don't care if every outlet eventually closes as long as they can remove Trump.

6
dudeduderson 6 points ago +6 / -0

Ever heard get woke, go broke?

Why do you think that repeated so often?

It is real. When companies alienate 70% of their customer base, they lose money.

When the cater to woke college students who have no money, they lose money.

Get woke, go broke is real and we NEED to start ethically consuming.

1
americathegr888 1 point ago +1 / -0

Squiggly is right, but is missing a part of the equation. These woke dogshit companies are getting direct cash infusions via Federal Reserve stock buy ins with printed money.

Ever wonder why Disney stopped giving a shit about profit and went full woketard, and seems to keep doubling down? It's because they don't need the profit when they are being given billions in under the table subsidies via Federal Reserve stock buy-ins.

That's how they keep doubling down and ignoring record profit losses every single time.

1
SquiggyMcPepe 1 point ago +2 / -1

Name one lefty company that went woke and was broke? Zero. Less profits sure but still making a profit. Remember the big push to boycott nike over kapernick? Their sales skyrocketed from the left buying two or three pairs to make up for what the boycott wasn't buying.

They Won't Stop Till We Make Them Stop.

Gawker

CNN ratings have plummeted into the ground.

Buzzfeed had to close its UK and Australian offices.

Verizon media, meaning HuffPo, Yahoo and AOL all cut 750 employees in 2019 alone.

GhostBusters, Star Wars, Terminator, Mass Effect

I mean come on... we have shown that we can push back by not buying into this crap. While these lefty outlets lay off employees, lose ratings, ad revenue and credibility, the right wing youtube and other media outlets are growing at huge rates.

Stop giving your money to people who want you dead.

2
SquiggyMcPepe 2 points ago +3 / -1

And not a one of the companies that you mentioned past gawker is slowing down a bit on attacking Trump. It's a game of attrition. Who can last the longest before the other fails. They will cut staff all the way down to a camera and rented hotel room for the hosts to broadcast from before they stop.

3
dudeduderson 3 points ago +3 / -0

And by the time Trump leaves office in 2024, they will hopefully be bankrupt.

They don't have unlimited finances or funding

2
deleted 2 points ago +3 / -1
6
SquiggyMcPepe 6 points ago +6 / -0

You don't understand the stakes. These owners don't care if every business they own goes under as long as it removes Trump. The only reason the msm is still operating is from constant cash infusions from the billionaires and why they are cutting staff to the bone across the board so they can keep operating and attacking Trump.

Yet for some evil reason we have allowed non Christians to use Jesus Christs words of “don’t judge lest ye be judged” to signify their excuse to cause harm to themselves and others in way that vary from as small as petty theft to full blown pedophilia.

The left have no morals and must be put down like the wild savage animals that they are.

2

No worries they will literally force it to that outcome because to lose this time is to lose for generations or longer. Why they are going insane trying to get rid of him is that they know he won't let them slink back into the shadows to try again once D's regain power. He is destroying their power structures one by one and there will be only one standing at the end. On Sunday, Snap CEO Evan Spiegel sent a message to employees condemning racial violence and calling for the establishment of a national commission on truth, reconciliation, and reparations.

This is all you need to know. This sounds straight out of 1984.

35
AnEndgamePawn 35 points ago +35 / -0

Are we going to factor in all the property damage done as part of the "reparations"? (Of course not).

The only things reparations lead to are more demands of more reparations.

Will the Clinton's have to pay reparations for being part of a country club that excluded black people in the 90s? Or will it only be regular taxpayers who have never done a racist thing in their lives?

11
mintscape 11 points ago +11 / -0

Reparations is also very dangerous, it is the kind of thing white nationalists love because of how much it would inflame racial tensions.

6
spezisacuckold 6 points ago +6 / -0

Demand for reparations is literally how WWII started.

4
PedeInADeepBlueSea 4 points ago +4 / -0

Property damage and civil war casualties. People forget that thousands of white people died to free the slaves.

3
BestTimeToBAlive 3 points ago +3 / -0

Any black patriots here?

I wonder what some black people think of reparations. To me, it sounds shitty & condescending... like you don't qualify for hard work or "making it to the top", so we'll just give you a hand out.

1
americathegr888 1 point ago +1 / -0

I'm all for reparations actually. So we just add up a couple hundred years of constant violence, welfare, property destruction etc. and start taking it from black Americans.

Blacks like the founder of BET are claiming they are owed $14 trillion.

So if we add up the result of a couple hundred years of constant violence, welfare and property destruction committed by blacks, I'd say they owe white taxpayers around $500 trillion.

Let's do it, see if they enjoy it as much as they think they will.

2
censorthisss 2 points ago +2 / -0

The problem is that they will just come back for more money and will say, "this is a nice first step but there's so much more work to be done" and nothing will change.

2

230 already regulates them. The Executive Order demands clarification on how to apply the regulations. Now we can sue them and force them in court to classify as either platform or publisher.

25
TheCIASellsDrugs 25 points ago +25 / -0

These big tech companies want to pick and choose what content is allowed on their site. Ok, they have that right as a private company.

That is called being a publisher. Companies that select what they want to publish, like book publishers, newspapers, blogs, or television stations, are responsible for the content that they publish. If it is defamatory, they must pay damages.

If they want to act like a publisher, picking and choosing what viewpoint to endorse, then they should be liable for defamatory content on their site. If they don't want to be liable for that, then they should stop censoring views that they don't like. It's the way the law works for everyone else, and that's how it should work for large social media companies.

Facebook itself - the company - is internally tearing itself apart over the "when the looting starts, the shooting starts" tweet.

Zuckerberg said he would let it stand in the public interest.

Half the employees are having a stroke because he didn't censor it. They are staging "virtual walkouts," refusing to work, threatening to quit, and actually quitting in a few cases.

They really do eat their own. Every time.

That can do nothing but improve the Facebook culture if all the raging idiots leave.

So they censored BLM and all celebrities calling for violence too? Even on other platforms?

sustainable_saltmine 10 points ago +10 / -0

So, speaking out denouncing violence is...inciting violence HONK!

"Why won't you let us kill you and destroy your cities! resisting us is just going to create more violence!"

Accuse your enemy of exactly what you are guilty of.

Trump needs to do better at reducing division. We're going to make it as hard as possible for him to do that by censoring him from every platform.

Clown world:

Actual violence is not violence. But calling for the national guard to stop violence is violence.

Snapchat has decided to remove Trump's feed after users report acts of violence towards their keyboard. One user, FeelTheBern2020, told The Verge that xis room was completely trashed and xis electronics smashed to pieces. Xe didn't know what had transpired as xe was blinded by an abnormal amount of tears but the last thing xe saw was Trump's racist statement.

"I was scrolling through the app and saw the words 'Bernie's out. I'm in. #Trump2020'. Suddenly I was in tears and it was like Trump himself walked in and destroyed my life." said FeelTheBern2020.

Snapchat is going to kick him off because he used a separate company in a way they don't like? Jesus christ he better sue them.

Good for them now the Snapchat users don't have to be afraid of seeing anything that is not true to their fantasy world lol

This is an unwanted reaction to the EO but not really a surprise. By stripping the liability protection the platforms are looking to cover their ass by imposing stricter restrictions. I posted about this being a possible outcome when the EO was signed.

Snapchat? Isn't that just a pornsite? I've only known it for people to pay for pictures of pornstars and titty streamers.

This is the left's dying act: burn the country down and go all-in against conservatives in a hail Mary attempt to stop Trump.

WON'T WORK, FUCKTARDS!

Indeed. So many teenagers below 18 posting their own nudes and sending it to others. It's child porn.

Thank you, SnapChat. Your sacrifice upon the pyre of free speech will be noted in the history books along side other martyrs for censorship like Twitter and Facebook. Section 230 reform could not have been achieved without ideologues like you driving progress forward.

Antifa caused mass violence, now people are angry at them. Now part 2 begins, to push all blame onto the president for "inciting the violence". This is part of that.

Literally no one uses Snapchat. Instagram Stories (i.e., Facebook) and TikTok destroyed them. This is just a muh social justice ploy to win attention back to their fading brand. Which was always stupid to begin with.

Trump has a Snapchat?
