We could not have. The admins were going to install their own mods. They were going to subvert that sub just like KotakuInAction got taken over by SJWs. The only course of action was to burn it down, and send everyone here. Trying to maintain both would have prevented this site from growing and would have allowed them to completely control the narrative at t_d.
