It's all just talk until cops demand that their unions stop colluding with the Democratic Party that hates them.

RiverFenix 190 points ago +192 / -2

The individual police forces are being ripped apart from within - same as every other institution. This is the moment in history when people remember to discern individuals from each other, not by their uniform or haircut style or skin colour.

Patriots versus Traitors (Cowards)

Good versus Evil

Right versus Wrong (Left)

SAD it's come down to this, but it really really has.

If you would have said 10 years ago that in World Wars 1 and 2, deserters who went AWOL were shot - it would have seemed harsh, 'crazy' and barbaric to kill someone on your own side for cowardice. The truth is that cucks and cowards are sometimes more dangerous to our side than the enemy because they ALWAYS LET YOU DOWN.

I fell asleep once, on post, and a passing mess truck took my rifle and gave it to an officer (former arty paratrooper). I got to hear stories about necks being slit, every sleeping man in the regiment depending on you, and a few other embarrassing remarks in my honour.... Some experiences smarten you up, if you let them.

My favorite ww2 story was Russian General Zuckoff, who left a wounded soldier by the side of the road and drove a half mile ahead around a bend.

He then shot every officer who came by in a vehicle until one of them finally had decided to give the wounded soldier a lift.

51
MadRussian 51 points ago +51 / -0

Never happened.

Zhukov was an excellent strategist and part of it was giving absolutely zero fucks about casualties as long as they didn't lead to a pyrrhic victory. One of his famous quotes with regards to casualties was "bitches will pop out some more." If you were expendable, you were expended.

50
DrCowboyPresident 50 points ago +50 / -0

The idea that Zhukov gave a fuck about any wounded soldier is fucking hilarious.

They shot anyone trying to retreat.

They threw entire units in the Gulag, not for surrendering, but just for being surrounded.

11
671-EVIL 11 points ago +11 / -0

When they tried to take back Leningrad from the Germans, they forced the Russian soldiers to run into heavy German machine gun fire. The Russians had special teams behind the Russian soldiers who would shoot anyone trying to retreat. Picture our pink haired soiboys from today's left getting drafted and put on the front line in an all out war against China.

10

That's funny but in a scary kind of way. General Zuckoff sounds like he just didn't give a fuck anymore and was above reproach.

15
malthrax 15 points ago +15 / -0

yeah, well the Russian army was run by absolute bastards, so... yeah. As the Red Army invaded westward into Germany, the KGB was behind them, with orders to shoot anyone who fell behind or turned to run.

14
Rodrigo 14 points ago +14 / -0

AND "Penalty Regiments" (For suicide and cannon fodder missions) for those who retreated and got caught.

10
INK10 10 points ago +10 / -0

The Russians (on Stalin's orders), also shot any Russian who ended up in Germany after the war. He wanted all Russians repatriated so they could be killed. He considered them traitors.

CuomoisaMassMurderer 3 points ago +4 / -1

You should watch some videos by TIK on youtube. He sorts through this. Tons of great info that wasn't available until recently, and he draws from all sources trying to eliminate all bias. He has hours out about Stalingrand (and the lead up to it)

RiverFenix I would also draw your attention to this. We have indeed been fed misinformation. Largely because the iron curtain kept one side of the story from us, while we learned mainly from German commanders who tried to make themselves look good. US and British commanders did, too. As did Soviet.

There are no rules in war..

3
KarlMarxInDrag 3 points ago +4 / -1

No nation has ever won a war using Christian principles. The winners tend to be the side most brutal, merciless and evil.

If you think you have an example, just search their name with the word "atrocities" in duckduckgo.

The battlefield is no place for men with a conscience.

The Old Testament rules of warfare are very effective. The problem is most people are to soft to use them.

1
RiverFenix 1 point ago +1 / -0

I know - but I think the Christian Bible has parts removed that justify righteous defenders and the ability to vanquish Evil.

With so much focus on 'thou shalt not kill', the focus on 'don't be a pussy' was lost.

1
RiverFenix 1 point ago +1 / -0

Killing is bad, but vanquishing evil is good..

So there's a fine line between showing your enemy mercy, having the discipline not to torture and murder.. but also knowing when ruthlessness and righteousness demand Force directed at your adversary.

I'm not perfect, but It is one question I would love to ask God.

We if can't kill - how do we vanquish Evil. If Michael is king of the angels and leader of the celestial armies - what does his army 'Do' to vanquish Evil, if not kill it. (or wipe it from this plane of existence)..

Anyways.. philosophical dilemma not sure it can get resolved during my lifetime.

6
clearsighted 6 points ago +6 / -0

It's a great story, but Zhukov was basically General Grant multiplied by a hundred when it came to happily trading lives for progress. (At least Grant showed evidence of being psychologically and spiritually disturbed by his troops taking losses...Zhukov did not give a fuck).

6

-3
CuomoisaMassMurderer -3 points ago +5 / -8

I don't think they kneeled "to" protesters. I think they kneeled "WITH" protesters. Key difference!

Yesterday protesters came out of the city into the burbs in my direction. Cops kneeled WITH protesters there, and they had great and productive dialog together. No violence, no vandalism.

When they returned to the city they were met with what they claimed was repressive police action. (My words, theirs are stronger and I think unwarranted) Didn't go so well.

At least they see the difference between the city and the burbs, in that middle America in fact does not hate black people. Hopefully this carries the day ...

14
DoYouBelieveInMAGA 14 points ago +15 / -1

Kneeling is agreeing with their faulty premise. Pass.

5
HiGloss 5 points ago +5 / -0

When did kneeling become a thing? It's not like some long standing American tradition but people are demanding police do this for some crazy reason. I wouldn't kneel for anyone or cause regardless of how much I supported it. It's demeaning.

2
DoYouBelieveInMAGA 2 points ago +2 / -0

I don't know but I agree with you. The world has lost its mind.

-3
CuomoisaMassMurderer -3 points ago +1 / -4

Agreed that they did this "in solidarity," which means agreeing with their premise. I can and do agree with the premise that Chauvin shouldn't have behaved the way he did with George, who was certainly no choir boy. I do agree with their premise that there is a pattern, and the black community as a whole has tried to change that for a long time. My whole life I have seen racial prejudice against black people, both by cops and in Court. It's also against the poor. If you happen to be black and poor, it's worse.

i agree with your premise that kneeling is wrong. Especially in this context, which is no different than Muslim enforcing their dhimmi (dummy) tax.

Going all "give me liberty or give me death" right now while ooutnumbered 300:1 is not a productive soapbox. I think we should avoid these fuckers now. If possible. If not, overwhelming force!

Regardless of short-term victory, the Ilhan Omars in our Nation and around the world are greatly encouraged and emboldened. Treason is the correct charge, aiding and abetting the enemy.

This seems like the logical outcome. Between covid lockdown and the annual BLM riots, why would anyone choose to live in these major metropolitan areas? Prolly hard to do when you wonder how many kids will be in danger after you abandon post. If I was an NYPD right now, that would keep me from quitting... just the off chance that a child somewhere might need help.

Imagine going on strike and the night you quit some kid gets taken down by a stray bullet or a volatile domestic situation.

12
slimcoat 12 points ago +12 / -0

It's a good point, but they also have to think about their own kids -- AND if they would have an opportunity to prevent the death hypothetical kid you mentioned, considering they have minimal support.

6
rooftoptendie 6 points ago +6 / -0

those would be compelling reasons to strike. How many real calls can they respond to when the city is coming unglued anyway.

11
malthrax 11 points ago +12 / -1

Imagine going on strike and the night you quit some kid gets taken down by a stray bullet or a volatile domestic situation.

As if that doesn't already happen every night of the week in NYC +WITH+ their 36+ thousand officers.

3
rooftoptendie 3 points ago +4 / -1

well that's a reasoned view, but I know how much a person's actions can weigh on their conscience, even when theyre not at fault. I'm sure theres NYPD who are going back and forth with themselves about whether to strike whose wives are saying to them exactly what youre saying to try to appeal to their reason.

I just think it might be a hard choice to make.

I love the south, want to there myself some day. Rural PA is really nice and saw a huge financial a job boom from natural gas drilling, but we have that scumbag gov Wolf running the state.

We are past the point where cops can do anything. Insurrection Act now, and treat this as an attempt at overthrowing lawful government.

And sack Esper while you're at it. Fuck this guy.

Esper is a backstabbing sellout. Watched his interview. Unbelievable.

Um, this is why they are paid massive union hourly wages, overtime, health benefits, and massive retirement packages.

Their leadership is filled with Democratic Party cronyism.

NYPD, stop protecting the so-called "leaders". No patrol, no chapperoning, no bodyguarding. Let them travel like everyday people and watch how fast they get involved in seeing an end to the riots.

Is this how Civil War 2.0 starts?

I wonder how many young kids are currently thinking they want to grow up to be police officers? 🤔😳

My grandson. He's a kid, praying he chooses something else when time comes

Better not enforce the law with respect to any black people. Do one little thing wrong and your life is over and the whole country lights up.

4
Deplora 4 points ago +4 / -0

He should just declare himself in charge, and order his officers to do what they need to do. Seriously, what's the downside to this approach? DeBlasio has exactly zero support from anyone but the rioters. Shove him out of the way, and nobody who isn't already rioting will register any serious objection.

If Obama had a son, he’d look like Chiara De Blasio.

(1) seize city hall.

(2) arrest the mayor and any prosecutors who refuse to enforce the law or stand in your way.

(3) defend yourselves with lethal force anywhere you need to.

(4) tell the fucking commies to enforce their own damn edicts.

Fuck them until they release weiners laptop

3
JimmyJam 3 points ago +3 / -0

this is not a leader in the NYPD it is the head of the sergeants union.

3
jgardner 3 points ago +3 / -0

Thing is, if the police threw in the towel, then it would be the National Guard and US Military's turn. If THEY throw in the towel, then the militia gets a go.

If the militia can't restore order, THEN you abandon ship, seal the borders, and let it burn to the ground. Sometimes you just can't save Rome, so go build Constantinople.

Oh, there's a plan all right. And the communists in charge of the city and state are executing it.

This cop says it: "its' good vs evil."

At some point Police leadership needs to side with good.

Fuck NY, sorry, their leadership and voters brought this on themselves. Hope to never spend another penny there.

2
Woefully_Inept 2 points ago +2 / -0

Soooo I ask again. When do the hangings start?

2
Pappy_Gunn 2 points ago +2 / -0

Holy shit. Imagine being an enlisted man and hearing that from your NCOs.

2
Theblob 2 points ago +3 / -1

I can't feel sympathy for police who go along with this type of leadership. It's always someone else's fault and more excuses. What's the difference between a thug and a cop if they both follow the same orders? The police need an overhauling of their administrators but resist that with lethal force and imprisonment, all while letting crime go unchecked. Also, I've never seen the police do anything good for anyone while on the job. Way too many are dirty and old boys club types.

SnowflakeJuice 2 points ago +2 / -0

This isn't the leader of the NYPD, that would be the Ass Kisser, Dermot Shea who is the Police Chief, He has his face so far up DeBlasios Ass that it is a miracle he hasn't suffocated.

2
goldbarr 2 points ago +2 / -0

DeBlasio must resign.
