My favorite ww2 story was Russian General Zuckoff, who left a wounded soldier by the side of the road and drove a half mile ahead around a bend.
He then shot every officer who came by in a vehicle until one of them finally had decided to give the wounded soldier a lift.

I can't feel sympathy for police who go along with this type of leadership. It's always someone else's fault and more excuses. What's the difference between a thug and a cop if they both follow the same orders? The police need an overhauling of their administrators but resist that with lethal force and imprisonment, all while letting crime go unchecked. Also, I've never seen the police do anything good for anyone while on the job. Way too many are dirty and old boys club types.
This isn't the leader of the NYPD, that would be the Ass Kisser, Dermot Shea who is the Police Chief, He has his face so far up DeBlasios Ass that it is a miracle he hasn't suffocated.
