That's great pede!
Good on her. Good on you.
Very legal, very cool. Good on you!!
My dad grew up on a farm and could shoot a gun from the time he could hold one. His father did not have the privilege of owning a gun in the old country. My dad went deer hunting every winter I could remember. Mom always had a new pair of deerskin gloves every year, and we had tasty Bambi for a couple of weeks.
He took my two brothers to the shooting range in the city and they qualified "marksman" on .22 rifles at 11 and 12.
I had the option, but I really didn't have an interest. I really still don't have an interest - I inherited my mom's shaky hands. When I felt the need to purchase a gun in South Florida, I decided it was better to just leave South Florida. And now The Gub'nah Ralph Fan Club aka MS-13 is taking over Occapied Virginia (and, frankly, all of Virginia), and I'm back in that mode.
Of course, Gub'nah Ralph thinks MS-13 should have guns, and I should not.
You are doing a good thing, as bad as that sounds.
