Ha. We should not allow “lesser included offenses” when putting someone on trial. prosecutors should be stuck with what they think they can prove —- eliminates extorting a defendant.
So, if they want 1st degree charge, then try to get that past a jury. In a rational world, there would be an old fashioned inquest (not some coroner’s report) which might lead to a voluntary manslaughter charge.
