This is nothing new. In 2018 Microsoft had a diverse hiring push at their stores. Most of the people that I started with checked off at least one diversity mark (queer, latinx, disabled, etc). Honestly I'm amazed I got hired being a heterosexual asian from a stable family background and no criminal history. I may as well have been a toxic white male
