He didn't deserve the treatment he received over a fake $20 bill. Think of the worst fuck up in your family, now imagine this is how and what they died over. I imagine (or hope) you couldn't excuse it away.
BUT BUUUUUUUT any of the other bullshit about blacks being gunned down systematically by cops, etc. is total shit and a lie. They took this situation and made it fucking ridiculous and we all know it. Fuck the media and fuck the Democrats. When the hordes come knocking on their door maybe then they will realize the errors of their ways.
I don't believe that the cops should ever be allowed to decide who lives and who dies outside of a legitimate self defense scenario, but you'd think that George Floyd was some kinda saint if you went through my Facebook news feed.
Yes, but my wife was incredibly bothered by this because she didn't know.
And has spent the past fews days understanding racism by paralleling her experience as a woman to her defenses and second thoughts when being approached by men she doesn't know, and sometimes the ones she does know.
And now it hit her like a ton of bricks Floyd is the very type of guy she has been paralleling to make her more sympathetic towards race.
Of course she still believes he shouldn't have died. But now she feels, once again, played. She's pissed.
I agree, but what is bothering me is the pedestal they are putting him on, the “honor” being given to him when others have also died and have been ignored, etc. I don’t think he deserved to die in the way it appears he did, but I also think people need to stop praising him and acting like he is some kind of hero. Pretty hard to come back from pointing a gun at a pregnant woman’s stomach. Disgusting and depraved behavior. Stop making him a saint.
Yeah, that "pointing a gun at a pregnant woman's stomach" bit really lost him some points with me. Now his family has $10M on GoFundMe. Crime pays! It just takes a while.
They always try and portray these guys as good Samaritans because the morons out there can't think, only react.
Yes we all agree that the officer abused his power and the end result was George Floyd's unnecessary death. The other officers on the scene that did not intervene on Floyd's behalf are just a guilty in my opinion.
"George Floyd moved to Minneapolis in 2014 for a fresh start after being released from prison in Houston, Texas following an arrest for aggravated robbery "
BULLCRAP "(Floyd had turned his life around but died on Monday after a white officer knelt on his neck while arresting him for allegedly paying with a fake $20 bill
None of the officers could have been aware of Floyd's more than a decade-old criminal history at the time of the arrest )"
"The 46-year-old had left behind his past in Houston after being released from prison stemming from a 2007 robbery
He plead guilty to entering a woman’s home, pointing a gun at her stomach and searching the home for drugs and money, according to court records
Floyd was sentenced to 10 months in jail for having less than one gram of cocaine in a December 2005 arrest"
Floyd didn't leave that out. Why was he holding the gun to her womb during the robbery? Because he knew she was pregnant and he wanted to terrorize her.
Yeah we all out here kidnapping and torturing pregnant women all the time yo. That's what the cool kids are doing. Dont you know a lot of successfully people go from torturing pregnant women to being model citizens who get high on meth and fentanyl and counterfeit money.
Fully agree with this.

I was banned from a subreddit today for pointing that out while everyone was blinding worshipping him.
Floyd died on the cross for us, haven't you been paying attention to the media?

"That's irrelevant, he's changed. Now let me tell you about an unfair business move Trump made in the 80's."

They left out the fact that she was pregnant!!!

Why shouldn't people know that George Floyd kidnapped and tortured a pregnant woman?
Nobody cares
He went to prison and was released. Paid debt to society. Fuck off saying he deserved what happened.

Model citizens. They all deserve murals.
