Wit, you think think the civilian appointed by the president overides the President? Woah, worse, you think the military loyalty is with the civilian appointed by the President, who then crosses the President?

The article is purposefully inflamatory, but the statements are simple States Authority will be respected (at this time). Federalism means leaving the (semi) soverign states to govern their internal affairs. I'll wager the press conference included more than 3 sentences from Esper. I'll bet including some long winded answers that translate roughly to, " I wont tell you our plans, so fuck off".

I came to the same conclusion today. Esper might as well have come out and announced it as an official coup.

For the life of me I haven't figured out how he managed to wrangle control of economic and trade policy but not anything else, that is, why did they cede that ground to him, because they haven't ceded anything else

Pretty much every other part of the executive branch that anybody cares about very much has remained in the control of the deep state. Defense. DOJ. State. DHS. DNI until very recently

He can still get re-elected but it's questionable if he will control very much. If we even have an election. Somehow I'm not convinced.

This post title is utter nonsense. Esper says nothing that even hints at that. What he says makes perfect sense and is consistent with a unified WH/DoD policy.

I honestly dont' care about "consistent with policy". Tell me how it is that Trump says he's going to take action, and then does all the things to start this action, and then when it's critically needed, he's stopped cold in his tracks and then shrinks back in his chair like a defeated child? If he is playing chicken with the governors, well it's thewrong game to play. His game should be stop this as quickly as you can.

This morning he bitched about Huber being a fraud hired by Sessions.

This says to me that Sessisions successfullly Cucked Trump...what's he going to do about THAT? Did he lose all THOSE documents too?

WHen is president Trump going to do what is right by the people who actually support him?

We've been begging him to declassify EVEYRTHING for YEARS....give Judicial Watch everything they want. INTERVENE

ITS YOUR JOB TRUMP

If he doesn't have any legitimate power, then it's over

He needs to actually show us something very powerful to confirm to us that he's still in the game

Something like a high level arrest. WE NEED ANOTHER PAKISTAN MOAB

I'm not sure what this, a lot of which I agree with, has to do with the idea that Trump is no longer the Commander in Chief. Esper could just as well be echoing Trump's policy, that no federal troops are needed at this point. And that's the correct policy, in my view. The cities and states have all the resources they need. They need to use them properly.

Why do you think that I want this to happen?

YOu clearly don't know anything about me or my posts here

I've given MORE to Trump than you have, and I know because I've given him a lot

If my time counts for anything then quadruple that amount

Trump Baits the press.

He baits the press incessantly because he honestly thinks, what was it, oh yeah: "The press is The Enemy of the People" -- Donald J. Trump.

By moving the military in - just in DC - , he gets "OMG OMG Hitler Hitler Hitler!!!" and they jump with elephant feet into "tear gas" arguments.

By a little nudge (Hey Esper...And you know I have to yell at you...) he now has a reason to pull back , and leave the states to lick up their own shit for a few more days.

And the press are ... cheering for Esper and ... "More Riots" ... Openly.

The man breathes Sun Tzu.

“When the enemy is relaxed, make them toil. When full, starve them. When settled, make them move.” ― Sun Tzu, The Art of War

“Let your plans be dark and impenetrable as night, and when you move, fall like a thunderbolt.” ― Sun Tzu, The Art of War

“All warfare is based on deception. Hence, when we are able to attack, we must seem unable; when using our forces, we must appear inactive; when we are near, we must make the enemy believe we are far away; when far away, we must make him believe we are near.” ― Sun Tzu, The Art of War

He's got the Democrats conducting open siege warfare on 80% Democrats where the other 20% are the RINOS. And the press is cheerleading.

Still boggled. He's not a fucking Cheeto.

The deepstate will not win. The people who haven't entered the game haven't been given their chance to play. There will be no compliance of meeting court dates on dockets unjustly given to those who protect their own and we will support each other. The fake ass revolution will fail along with those elected in power residing over this coup and the People will maintain ownership of freedom. Prove me wrong

No. The National Guard are weekenders who do it primarily for extra income and hope they'll never get called up.

As for the military and Trump -- did you forget that news conference where Trump was surrounded by the military and called it "the calm before the storm"? I wouldn't worry about the opinion of two when Trump's got a roomful.
