It's not justifying his death -- it's proving that literally everything they have done, all the destruction, was for a lie. They are craven opportunists.
Justice isn't justice if it isn't equal. If I kneel on a guy's neck, and that isn't what killed him, I shouldn't be charged with murder: that wouldn't be justice, that would be vengeance.
And if a cop kills someone, you don't go loot Herald's Square Macy's or kill a 77 year old retired black police captain who was guarding a pawn shop or a shop owner defending his store.
