I believe he and the cop knew each other! Worked at club which was a front for illegal counterfeit operation. When floyd was let go due to covid and broke he made the mistake of using a counterfeit bill. When police heard over dispatch radio about the detainment of Floyd they KNEW if he went to station he would spill beans about WHERE he got the fake 20 implicating the club and cop who kneeled on his neck!
