Consider all the entitlement programs that have been in place since the 1960's. The enormous cost of that is certainly "reparations".
And furthermore, assuming you did give reparations, then entitlement programs should be discontinued permanently along with affirmative action.

No reparations. My relatives did not arrive in America until the 3rd wave of immigration. They were not here during slavery. I, and the majority of Americans have the same ancestral situation-- we owe NOTHING to people who have never been slaves because our ancestors were never slave owners. If they want reparations for slavery, I invite them to go to the cemetery of their choice and collect them from the people who lived in the 1860's.
