BBC news has become cancer in the last few years (maybe longer... I was not noticing before). This article is all truth to power bullshit that they claim they do, not the propagandizing they actually do.

In summary Part 1. Here's journalists that were killed, one by the orders of a Saudi Prince. These are wrong, but cannot be compared to their fake journalism.

Part 2. Here are some assaulted journalists at the riot. Wrong also, but if your at the front of a riot you may get hit. Hazard of the job.

Part 3. Everyone is a lovey dovey.

Finally this gem and the reason for the article.

But the species of criticism which begins from disapproval of what one well-paid, high-profile figure says on a particular occasion, to eviscerate the whole organisation, as if that one person represents more than 20,000 others, is sloppy.

Sloppy calling out baiting journalists for who they represent? Wrong. You knew signing on with a news organisation that you would be the face and representative. Why should you be 'speaking truth to power' and then be exempt from examination yourself? Are the media conglomerates not power?

Still don't like it? It is easier than it ever has been in human history to set yourself up as an independent voice and reach millions on YouTube or other online platforms. But you won't do that, because you know you will fail.

The condescending tone of these articles is what my license fee is paying.
