If true, kick his ass out

Be super hardline and lose.

Think about what a good DACA deal looks like... It looks like yes, some people who have been here all their lives get to stay even though their parents didn't go through the right system - BUT - I'd be OK with that if it ended birthright citizenship, built the wall, removed any future ambiguity or cause/concern for daca-situations as law, and took a much harder stance on people who have been deported multiple times.

You could be hardline and have literally nothing change, or use it as a bargaining chip.

Even OFFERING it as a poison bill to Dems would make them vote against DACA. Do you really think the DACA people give a shit if there is a wall or birthright citizenship is ended if they get theirs? No.

bill_in_texas 21 points ago +21 / -0

This. Ending birthright citizenship is the only way America can possibly be saved. That, along with some other things, needs to be in any agreement. Giving the left 1.6 million self entitled leftist fucks the right to become citizens and vote is unpalatable, but so is birthright citizenship.

No more lotteries.

No more foreign work replacement programs.

No more chain migration.

No more mass relocation by the government.

No more refugees.

End affirmative action.

Finish the wall and build the second one behind it.

spezisacuckold 6 points ago +8 / -2

They can stay ONLY if they cannot vote and ONLY if it ends anchor baby citizenship.

4
NeverInterruptEnemy 4 points ago +7 / -3

This is America, you are a citizen or you aren’t. Don’t ask for second class citizenship because you might just get it.

2
spezisacuckold 2 points ago +5 / -3 (edited)

Nobody's asking to remove voting rights from existing citizens. The demand is only allow people that shouldn't be here in the first place to become citizens so long as they cannot vote. We remove voting rights all the time for felons for breaking different laws.

Huge difference.

2WOMP_BRICKLAYER 5 points ago +5 / -0

Don’t be obtuse. Some middling DACA deal, even if we caved on everything, would not garner one additional vote in November.

Ending birthright citizenship is the only thing that might make another amnesty palatable but that will never ever ever ever be on the table.

The Wall can be built even with the dirty dems controlling the purse strings in the House, as is slowly but surely currently underway. The left wouldn’t put the Wall on the table for DACA amnesty anyway. Too polarizing and too symbolic.

And there are already clear laws on the books that apply to both “DACA-situations” and repeat offenders, but they are only selectively enforced because of muh fee fees.

No more amnesties. Not now, not ever. A hardline position on illegal immigration will not lose in 2020. In fact it was probably the most quintessential plank in the 2016 platform. No deal.

Exactly.

Hope it is not true.

Kushner has smelled like sulfur since day 1. I suspect his connections are necessary to maintain a financial base of support for Trump. Digging in to him makes clear his affiliation.

10
Basileus 10 points ago +11 / -1

If true, it's with the connivance of the Administration. THIS really is the last amnesty, we mean it guys! 30 years later We must provide a path to citizenship--their whole lives have been here since they arrived in 2021. :/

They'll always have the excuse "That was somebody else in my party that said it was the only time, not me" or that "I've evolved on the issue" (hypocrisy)

43
bigdon45 43 points ago +45 / -2

Kushner is by far the weakest link of the Trump administration. President Trump better get that achillies heel covered up quick before it unravels all his hard work.

100%.

One of Trump's biggest letdowns is his nepotism in the administration and his refusal to just completely clean house of (D) supporters and be done with it for good.

What are you talking about? He's fresh off making peace between Israel and the PA, right?

Oh, wait....he didn't succeed in that job. But I'm sure he'll totally do better now.

28
DasBurt 28 points ago +29 / -1

Kushner is a globalist cuck. He shouldn't be anywhere near the President's policy on anything.

The deal is you go back to your country and apply for a visa. We'll consider your application but if you have committed any crimes while in the United States illegally, such as being in the United States illegally, your application will be denied. Thank you.

11
PewPew_ThaDuK 11 points ago +13 / -2

Kushner is dumb, even if a reasonable deal could be had, all Democrats would do is pull it from under him and talk about how racist the deal is and use it as a reason to go vote. Dumb

14
bigdon45 14 points ago +15 / -1

Anything less than "You need to go back" is unreasonable

10
Fernietexas 10 points ago +12 / -2

This would be a self-own by the Trump team, I am going to have faith that there is no way this would come true.

Hell just the fact that Kushner is in discussion of this, would make me want to hear Trump smack his ass down and give him the God Father speech about publicly disagreeing.

RedFoxOnFire 9 points ago +10 / -1

Fuck No. Learn from Reagan, no amnesty, no deals.

These people despise you and will not honor any agreement.

I don't want an amnesty deal, but DACA is one of the prime examples I use of Dems acting in bad faith. Trump has been willing to negotiate a DACA deal from day 1, but Dems have refused to negotiate. It's a prime example of Dem hypocrisy, and exhibit A of why they don't deserve anyone's vote.

Kekistan_United 5 points ago +6 / -1

my conspiracy:

kushner/ivanka want some 'ammo' for their future bid at POTUS et al

so they need to have 'times where they put their foot down'

this is not unlike mark cuban, suddenly trying to act like a rational human

in a bid to have the country act like hes a viable replacement candidate.

its all so obvious.

not gonna happen. They are both too far left for anyone still in the center right, and too tarnished by DJT to ever win with the Left

4
Thep1mp 4 points ago +4 / -0

Fuck Kushner, he can’t implement policy anyway.

4
wartooth6 4 points ago +4 / -0

Trump, we love you. We've got your back.

We know they're family and you trust them, especially living in a den of vipers.

But you've never won much support with Kushner at your side.

There are plenty of willing, capable, and competent citizens all over this Nation that would do anything to fill your ranks that never had a shot before. Ones that actually can make a difference and want to help fix the system. You know, the actual taxpayers.

Mr. Trump, look to your citizens. We don't just wanna help you, we want to help the Nation.

3
Ghostof_PatrickHenry 3 points ago +5 / -2

As long as there are requirements that keep anyone with a criminal record out and as long as we get something good in return I think it could be a smart move. Daca has always been on the table since day one. It's a good bargaining chip imo.

1
MrWWonka 1 point ago +3 / -2

I’ll just echo what others have said if in the short term we have to give up giving some people citizenship but it ends birthright citizenship this is a win imo

Remember that the Reagan amnesty gave away California FOREVER. No amnesty is ever a good idea.

6
Fuck_commies_2024 6 points ago +7 / -1

Kushner is very anti American

1
sun_wolf 1 point ago +4 / -3

Kushner was the one who solved the ventilator issue. He shut that entire talking point down in about a week. Trump loves him and thinks he’s brilliant so maybe people should start trusting Trump and stop calling his daughter the Enemy of the People. Would you say that to his face if you met him? “Hello Mr. President, your beloved daughter is a globalist cunt who needs to piss off and die.” You think that’s something he would like to hear?

1
whiskey_shitz 1 point ago +2 / -1

Politics is a persuasion game and that requires some compromises. Some folks here dont really get that.

Daca is a bargaining chip and it's being used as such.

2
bigdon45 2 points ago +2 / -0

We can have both if we hammer the democrats on the civil war issue. Many folks here dont seem to get how much of a silver bullet 13% of the population can be.

0
bigdon45 0 points ago +1 / -1

Straw man no one said anything about dying. Many of Trumps other children are not in the administration so why would it offend him if we said Ivanka (and definetly Jared) shouldnt be there either?

0
sun_wolf 0 points ago +1 / -1

Have you not seen the way people talk about Ivanka around here: bitch, cunt, traitor, globalist, fuck her, I hate her. You are right I guess that not many people want her to die. Congratulations. I am sure President Trump would be grateful you only called his first daughter a “traitor bitch globalist cunt” but didn’t TECHNICALLY call for her death.

bigdon45 1 point ago +1 / -0
