I actually heard an interesting take on Nike stores getting looted and such. Apparently, with all the seasonal inventory they go through, when it isn't sold it's a big loss. However, when they get looted their insurance covers it and it ends up actually saving money. Meanwhile they're 'down' with the cause and make money to boot.
