I actually heard an interesting take on Nike stores getting looted and such. Apparently, with all the seasonal inventory they go through, when it isn't sold it's a big loss. However, when they get looted their insurance covers it and it ends up actually saving money. Meanwhile they're 'down' with the cause and make money to boot. I've done zero research beyond that take so take it fwiw.
