There is a part of me that hopes they do it. Just do it. Let them wallow in their own stupidity and show the rest of the Country why police are critical to our way of life.
I’m not trying to be one of the downers who seem to be posting en masse lately, but the more I think about it, the more I think that they’re counting on there not being an election. Logically they gain absolutely nothing from this - in the current system, If there’s some sort of hard coup (military), then they have everything to gain. I hope (and think) it will be foiled, though.
When talking about conspiracy theories, I always ask, “Why would they do this?” Some of the more outlandish ones rely on particular people working against their own self interest, thus they make no sense. I’m looking at the riots with Dems supporting them, or lockdowns that people hates. What could possibly be in it for “them?” The only way to rationalize what we would normally characterize as epic political blunders is to assume that they think the blunders don’t matter because the current system will be gone.

I just hope they do it before the election so when the city is instantly overrun by gangs, the mob, and Islamic law, Minnesota will go red.
