Before the last civil war both sides thought they would have it in the bag. The South had a just cause, and a strong agricultural base. The north had sheer numbers, manufacturing and leaders with better credentials. Both sides thought the war would be over in a few months at the most.
The first major battle of the civil war, bull run, actually had a number of civilians that thought a great way to spend the afternoon was to picnic close enough to watch the Union forces wipe the floor with the CSA forces. A number of the civilians were injured or killed in the ensuing route of Union forces.
If you cannot see the advantages the other side has as well as your own weaknesses then you are in for a lot of surprises. War is hell, and there are NO rules.
Somehow your post ran off my screen to the right. Strange.
"War is hell." Yes. Some have climbed down my throat for saying that, pretending to be vets. I don't think any vet would say war is anything other than hell.
The number of people ignorant of history really is amazing. Anyone who studies even a cursory amount of history would come to the conclusion that war, especially modern war and civil wars, really should be avoided if at all possible.
YES! Fortunately at least some here get it that Civil War is what the globohomos have been trying to create for the longest. We would advance their agenda far more than they did with plannedemic and plannedriots, PDQ.Although plannedriots did have similar effects to infrastructure as war, where those riots occurred. Except they didn't take out bridges or electrical power. Nor did they kill nearly so many, fortunately.
I do have ideas to fix this that are legal and peaceful. Waiting for November would be a mistake ...
