Are you saying Lincoln didn't want freed (black) slaves exiting the Country, but was fine with them staying as part of the US? Can you substantiate that claim?
Lol I know a lot more about the Revolutionary War period and you could be talking about Thomas Jefferson since he did go through "the war." But you have a funny way of saying I was right, Lincoln did in fact want that, just like I said. Adding more detail that he later changed his mind doesn't change that fact. Here's a great quote that's so needed today : "I have sworn upon the altar of God eternal hostility against every form of tyranny over the mind of man."
