Yupp, Roman citizenship in the early days was highly prized. After the Marious reforms non citizens were allowed to join the military and after serving a full term, which was like 30 years or so, they were given citizenship and a plot of land for retirement. It worked well because over that time the person would assimilate to Roman culture.
Fast forward a few hundred years and the Romans are just outsourcing their military by paying foreigners to serve. No assimilation, they don't give a shit about Rome and have no stake in it's future. Sounds real familiar today, illegals know nothing about the founding principles of America and therefore will be fine when communists take over.
But we have black fertility rates and they are dropping like a rock while white fertility rates are starting to increase again. Latino fertility rates are dropping too and will be below replacement level in a year or two. Same for blacks. White fertility rates are projected to increase further thanks to our conservative white Christian friends.
