Just like the left - posting something known to be fake, then "retracting" it once the damage is already done.

After the fake news it generated to attack Trump, now they actually go do real research. I bet they got millions in donations out of this.

The same people that think peer reviewed isn’t corruptible or abused are the same people that think socialism will magically happen in direct conflict with human nature. That’s not to say we shouldn’t have controls or procedures in place but that we shouldn’t put them in such high regard that we don’t keep a critical eye open and be willing to reconsider in spite of our biases.

So is everything on Deddit. Anything that fits the Politburo agenda gets upvoted and boosted by "peer review"; dissidents get downvoted off the platform.

In my reading of the acknowledgements section there was no mention at all of the paper being reviewed. In every science paper I've ever seen, authors thank either named or anonymous reviewers for their contributions, in the acknowledgements section. This fraudulent covid paper published in the Lancet only mentioned one collaborator who reviewed their statistical work. The Lancet also fast tracked the paper, so I wouldn't be surprised if they were in on it. Now all involved are collaborating on damage control, aiming to minimize fallout to the Lancet, so they can continue to publish fraudulent papers aimed at manipulating medical practices. Many academics are quite accomplished at making fuck ups and falsehoods sound plausible and even reasonable.

O boy time to send this to the people who fought me when I said this article was bullshit. This is becoming like a weekly occurence.

It's a lot harder to get everybody in the medical research field on your payroll than it is to get everybody in the climate science field on your payroll.
