They automatically put hispanic kids in ESL even if they have perfect English?

That’s absolutely racist.

Yep, this was in the 90s, when my parents (white dad, mom from Mexico) pleaded I be put in regular classes, they said they didn't want to, how else would my culture be preserved and wouldn't I be happier around similar people?

My parents fought til they said it's okay to transfer to regular classes, but just to spite them they pulled me out and took me to an all white Christian private school where I would get a better education anyways

Happened in my family as well.

In their defense, I know teachers nowadays who have 100% hispanic ESL classrooms. And entire schools.

Hell, the majority of my city is schools that are 99% Hispanic, majority school lunch and ESL. Very few schools are diverse, and not a single one is even more than 80% white. There used to be a lot of black schools but they only have maybe 3 out of 500 now. All the other traditional black schools are majority hispanic.

Nothing funnier than a bunch of kids who dont understand english being taught about MLK or Malcolm X.

I have high functioning autism and I feel like the Democrat party does not care about me in their totem pole because my disability is not a “visible diversity characteristic”.
