My thought is he knew Chauvin was gonna kill him and was fighting tooth and nail to get out in fear for his life. Can't blame the guy. If they did work together and the Cabaret was laundering cash, they could tie George back to it. Something tells me the powers that be sent a hit out on George and called in an owed favor from Chauvin. Take care of the family and once in prison, he will be relocated without a peep from anyone.... taking my tin foil hate off now.
