that guy had no business walking up on the cops like that . the cops are wrong for using that level of force but that guy put himself in harms way. he was injured as a result of his own actions. no one made him walk up on the cops like that. your safety is your own responsibility
I’d upvote, but I don’t think they were wrong. He got pushed... On the other hand, I’m tired of watching videos of people dying from this ridiculous bullshit protesting/rioting.
So, he approached and blocked one of them, tried to hold his phone against another one's arm (???), got yelled at to step away, got pushed away by the cop he was holding the phone against, and fell.
I'm sorry.... But c'mon..... When the line is advancing and you decide to advance as well..... That's war posturing.
I don't care that he's old.
He should've known better.
It's not like this old man was going to actually STOP a battalion that's progressing forward...
His second mistake was grabbing the arm of that officer.
It's incredibly unfortunate and I hope he's okay.... But this is NOT the way to change minds and hearts.
Did this guy fancy himself some enlightened peacemaker with magic words?
What are you thinking walking up to cops who are doing active enforcement? People need to stop and think.
Couldn't agree more.
It just proves how self-righteous liberals are.... They really think the world is going to stop to listen to them. That their words are THAT important.
This old man was a fool... But I pray he's okay tonight.
The dude walks up and gets in the cop's face, the cop pushes him back, the dude loses his balance and goes down, next thing you know, dude is laying on the gound, not moving, with a puddle forming under his head.
older white man protestor walks up to police line, waves hands and tries to talk to police officer who is advancing forward. officer behind the first pushes the frontline officer to keep line moving, and man falls backwards. hits head and bleeds through ears. front line officers move forward, third line calls for backup and stands by injured protestor.
Pro tip:
When your city is literally on fire and rioting is 24/7, dont walk up to a police line that is moving forward and try to talk.
Its a shame, but he was provoking an event, and he got it. Hope he recovers fully.
this. if that guy didnt do what he did what happened to him wouldnt have happened. it sucks that he got KTFOed but it was a result of his own actions

Still, this was ridiculous and clearly not a threat. They should probably display better judgement than that
The cops are not helping themselves.
Very true. Adrenaline is not always a good thing. The looters and rioters are pent up on it and the cops are too. Not a good combo.
I think the left and the right agree on this
Nobody will care. White lives don't matter.
There will be no riots for this guy’s life. Very sad that no journalists will give a fuck
Fuuuuuck!!!! I need a new a new TV and sneakers.

What am I supposed to be upset over?
Don’t walk up to cops and almost grab one. Bad fall.
Buffalo, NY if anyone is wondering
This is terrible. Like how was that necessary?

You don't step on the tracks when the train is coming through, that's common sense.
Clearly it's a white guy who's racist against whites. Not that's it's just there's bad cops
I can't watch this. Can someone explain what happens? And yes I'm a coward regarding watching these things.

Look close, he grabs at cons belt/baton too.

Oh damn
For everyone saying cop shoulda done this, shoulda done that. Try being in the job first.
Don’t blame the cop here the guy is putting himself in a dangerous position. Anyone doing this is taking a risk. But yea he looks dead
Rip
Ya know... They might wanna.... Ya know...?
Its so cliche and i hate using it. But play stupid games win stupid prizes.
