Fuck Kickstarter. They've always promoted SJW type projects. Think of making Twitter trend. Kickstarter can make projects trend or disappear.

I agree, but man... try to go somewhere else like indiegogo and your project gets 1/10th of the result. This majorly pisses me off.

Another thing I know about KS is that there are people manipulating it through bidding schemes, like an army of pledge shills. A person can hire them and get a boost. I don't know if it violates their rules or not, just that it's done. Otherwise, the key to success, besides having a good presentation that keeps the mods happy, is to have your own mob of supporters poised and ready to absolutely blitz for at least 3 days. That makes you trend and get more mentions and hopefully it snowballs.

This is the last straw for me. I just got on to see what new board game projects were out there and saw this direct link to Defund the Police. I wrote them an email (not that they care) and will "pledge" never to do business with them again.

As FYI, last year, one of the board game creators that I have backed in the past had their upcoming game project removed from Kickstarter. It was a damn Civil War game, which got removed for the crime of having a Confederate Flag...on a Civil War Game!!!
