Duckduckgo must be getting more popular. I was listening to a NY area station (the Peak) and actually heard an advertisement for it. I didn't think normies even knew about it.
Well the thing about ddg and most alt search pages is that all it really does is prefilter the google results for you to weed out the crap and disinformation. It's still google at the core and still can't find things google purposely hides.
I'll come back with sources if anyone cares but it seems duckduckgo is also compromised. Even if the are not its not good to blindly trust these people.
There is a vpn element yes as far as google getting your history but ddg is still collecting your search data like every other site. The rub is do you trust them not to abuse it.
