I was watching Sargon of Akkad daily and he was discussing this. Communism elevates thugs and drunks, the real dregs and makes them dependent on them for status etc. They do their thing for communism and are later disposed off to make room for "presentable" people.
I think our overlords are banking on the belief that we have very short memories, and eventually, near the election, they think they'll be able to spin this all against Trump. But for years to come -- forget months -- everyone of every race, color and creed, who lives in or near those looted, destroyed neighborhoods, will be reminded (for many, it will be daily) of what happened whenever they walk, drive or take a bus by the boarded up businesses they used to patronize, and the burned out buildings where they used to work, and the empty, blackened frames of the homes where they used to live. They'll NEVER forget, and they'll never forget who's to blame. And they'll always remember it isn't Donald Trump.

Many insurance companies don’t pay for damages from “civil unrest.” Many of these business owners are on the hook for 100% of damages and losses.
Try explaining that to NPCs they think all businesses owners are rich enough to recover or that insurance will cover it. Pure fucking evil ignorance.
