This is exactly why I'm homeschooling my kids from now on. My son needed services from the school system for special needs, but now no longer qualifies. He's already vulnerable and I can't have him spend 8hrs a day being taught things that go against our beliefs, values and nature itself.
What steps are you taking to teach him that when leaves the home that others around him may very well have completely different educations and belief systems? I imagine someone will challenge him on "what he knows" and I worry about the cognitive dissonance that could take place if there isn't a good foundation. Genuinely curious, not trying to come across as challenging.
