Yes, but these subpoenas are coming from a different committee.

The Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee issued these ones.

Hopefully Lindsay Graham is on that subpoena list.

Pedes you are not on Graham's FB and his posts' comments are fucking drowned in liberal voices every day.

inb4 "fuck Fakebook" - I don't want to hear it! Either you're competing in the marketplace of ideas, or you're surrendering!

If Durham’s investigation is about to yield fruit, I’d rather let that boatload of info become public, THEN issue the subpoenas. Late spring/early summer is here, and Barr said that COVID hasn’t slowed the investigation. It should be showtime any day now.

14
I_Love_45-70_Gov 14 points ago +14 / -0

In a mid-December 2019 interview, AG Barr said that Durham had told him that he expected to be finished with the investigation between late Spring and late Summer/early Fall of 2020 -- at the latest.

Even assuming he was otherwise keeping to that time table, the Chinese Virus likely pushed his schedule back at least a month. It was pretty much impossible to interview anyone between mid-March and the beginning of May, let alone have grand jury proceedings. Even now almost everything is being done via zoom or something similar, so it will be very hard for him to finish up on time. He better at a minimum have some indictments before the election though.

7

33 indictments can also end in 33 wrist slaps.

Let me know when the sentencing for treason and participating in a coup meet a credible punitive level.

3
trumpORbust 3 points ago +3 / -0

Gotta given them all notice and time to get their stories aligned

2
daisytrench 2 points ago +2 / -0

Yep, this. Congress has to act like it's doing something, in order to appease its conservative base. So don't start celebrating; they are using you like pawns. Call me when someone goes to jail.

106
Siteless_Vagrant 106 points ago +108 / -2

Because it's yet another congressional hearing? That results in nothing? While it's definitely a refreshing change in the direction of the wind, I won't celebrate until I see handcuffs.

5
y_do_i_need_to_hide 5 points ago +5 / -0

True. But this time they get to grandstand on Justice rather than covering up.

This was never about evidence, they've had it from the beginning. This was about whether we the people would actually make them do something. I'm going to keep pushing till it happens

1
AlohaChris 1 point ago +5 / -4

Maybe if WE riot in the streets and start burning things and murdering people they’ll actually indict somebody.

That’s literally working for the left.

3
TheDonaldVET1 3 points ago +3 / -0

Dont agree with your suggestion but you get an upvote for the fact. The left are literally getting justice as result of their chaos

2
MyUsername 2 points ago +3 / -1

Justice? I don't see justice anywhere, only chaos.

3
TheDonaldVET1 3 points ago +3 / -0

My point was the wheels of justice only turn left

1
AlohaChris 1 point ago +1 / -0

I don’t agree with the idea either, but It’s conservatives who are being silenced, canceled, banned while the left is not.

Donald Trump has accomplished a lot, he has fired some bad people, but let’s be perfectly clear; we’re going on four years and not a swamp creature has seen a single criminal charge.

1
TheDonaldVET1 1 point ago +1 / -0

Trump is uncovering the biggest political scandal in US history and you think Trump can just snap his fingers and get it done immediately? It's amazing he has got this far in only 3 1/2 years. He has NEVER let us down if he says WE WILL DRAIN THE SWAMP THEN WE WILL DRAIN THE SWAMP.

1
highmoves 1 point ago +1 / -0

Sadly you’re likely right. I always felt they would do this in May/June in prep for November for election purposes. Only glimmer of hope is coordinations of COVID response/riots, and conversely trump is pissed off. They are obviously scared shitless. Hope he follows through with whatever power he can

"Congressional Subpoenas"

Let's keep this in perspective. Eric Holder was issued a Subpoena and just fucking ignored it. He's in Contempt of Congress and nothing was/is done.

4
GilaMonsterous 4 points ago +4 / -0

This. I wonder how many of these subpoenas will be ignored and nothing comes of it. It's not happening until these crooks are in prison.

2
V_exodus 2 points ago +2 / -0

The day Holder is so scared for his own ass that he starts squealing will be a great day indeed. I detest that smug, weak-chinned POS

And Clinton destroyed emails after receiving one, and while Clapper showed up he committed perjury in his testimony. Of course nothing happened to either of them.

7
ScarfaceMcDank 7 points ago +7 / -0

It's the magic number!

Normally I see the magic number used to signal what they're talking about is bullshit.

At least, that's what I think the code means.

3
ButteryFumes 3 points ago +3 / -0

I have to say, it is it weird how often it is used. 33 million to BLM from Soros, 33 million unemployed, now this. These are all things I've noticed within the last few weeks. It is pretty weird!!! I was challenged by a friend to notice how often it comes up.

2
ScarfaceMcDank 2 points ago +2 / -0

Remember the Netherlands flight shot down over Ukraine?

Originally travelling at 33,000 feet. ATC requests them to descend to 30,000 feet (the ceiling of the missiles shot at it...yes, Russians shot the missile, but Ukranian fighters were behind the plane and spoofed their radar so the Russians thought the plane was a fighter).

4
sickofaltspin 4 points ago +4 / -0

Remember when the German Equivalent of the FAA complained about Ukrainian bombers shadowing commercial flights to hide from Russian SAMs about 40 days before the shootdown? I bet you don't since western media didn't report on that.

1
ScarfaceMcDank 1 point ago +1 / -0

Correct. Those were spoofing tests.

4
sickofaltspin 4 points ago +4 / -0

No. It wasn't tests. It was smart insurgent use of airpower against a vastly technically superior foe to deliver ordinance on target and turn the enemy into pink mist and bone chips and break his toys.

To avoid being shot down, they utilized hiding in the radar signature of the commercial flight. When they neared their target, they would dive away, deliver their ordinance, and then sneak back as fast and low as possible to their lines. It's a dirty tactic but so is pocket sand, and unfortunately both work real well.

14
iamthebeaver 14 points ago +14 / -0

The halls of congress is where investigations go to die. Light in the Loafers Lindsey isn't going to expose anything, but will be complicit in the coverup

2
IncredibleMrE1 2 points ago +2 / -0

Exactly. They all need to be on record under oath having said they didn't mean to do anything wrong, it wuz just mistakes, blah blah blah. Ms. Lindsey gave Weaselface an out at every turn, and the rest of the committee was at least as complicit. That's the best we can expect for any of these hearings.

13
inquimouse 13 points ago +13 / -0

Being subpoenaed by Lindsey Graham is like getting a note from the HOA.

3

12
ChilledCovfefe 12 points ago +12 / -0

It’s all show and it means nothing. This gives us the illusion that justice is happening. This is a process the honed for decades. A few tough questions get asked, we publish lots of cool clips showing Lindsey or in the past, Trey Gowdy, steamrolling a witness, and then nothing! It’s how they run out the clock. It’s already too late, we are in peak election season and not one has gone to jail. The election fraud this time will be stunning.

Why does anyone think Trump would settle for the same-old same-old, now that he has these people in the cross-hairs?

11
_Donald-Trump_ 11 points ago +11 / -0

Congress has never done anything. They are worthless when it comes to this sort of thing.

9
WinstonOrwell 9 points ago +9 / -0

Watched them "question" Rod Rosenstein.

Not ONCE did they go in for the kill...they let him wriggle...

Someone should have asked: Okay, so you say you knew by early 2017 that there was no Russian collusion.

  1. How did you know? What facts told you this?
  2. SINCE you knew, why didn't you put an end to this?

Also...we see that you recommended that Trump fire James Comey...

  1. Why did you then criticize Trump for the firing?
  2. Why did you launch an investigation as to why James Comey was fired?

You know...questions that go somewhere?

6
RiverFenix 6 points ago +6 / -0

They actually did ask those questions man, I watched the whole thing.

Lindsay Graham basically read 'our' list of questions in his opener and they pressed him on each one. It was only the Dem senators who complained about it being 'a waste of time' and feeding no questions to Rod

1
undercovermaga 1 point ago +1 / -0

so did anything come of it then?

3
RiverFenix 3 points ago +3 / -0

Well Rod seemed pretty firm on the stance that things happened inappropriately but that 'he' didn't know certain facts when signing the 3rd renewal for FISA warrant..

I can't remember if it was Cruz or Lee or someone else, but they essentially said Shit rolls uphill and in the end either Rod is complicit through gross negligence or culpable as an accomplice. I think Rod did a decent job convincing the republicans he supports President Trump (now, at least) and doesn't agree with the coup plotters attempts to overthrow him.

I think Rod is singing like a bird, to be honest. I don't like him - he looks like an old Nazi scientist from the 40s.. but if he's honest and not just parsing words, he might have signed off on things thinking they were at least legal if not legit. thats my understanding of yesterday

9
xopi 9 points ago +9 / -0

Do we really want to hear a bunch of commies lying or saying I don't remember

5
Jabron661 5 points ago +5 / -0

If it was like Rosenstein, they will all just confirm that there was no "intent" in their bullshit.

Every single one of them, even Lion Ted, told Rosenstein they "didnt think he was going after the President" and were just being incompetent.

HORSE SHIT!

9
rochrealtor 9 points ago +9 / -0

This os Lindsay Graham which is in essence blocking for the deep state to run out the clock on this and help rig an election. He wants you to think he’s doing something to save their skin but I’m essence someone in his staff is attending the domestic terrorism stack strategy meeting the democrats have. I hate to tell you but this whole year is about creating a NOW we gotcha moment and y tempting Trump from office. They know they can’t even win a rigged election at this point. Graham is all in along with McConnell and the rest. Trump is bad for business and if all the corruption is exposed s lot of them will go to jail as well. Sorry but that’s what their actions spell.
