When reality is twisted by lieing, there are consequences.

I see this in my own life.

People dont like it when they find out they are wrong and have been lapping up the wrong for years. It truly fucks with a persons brain.

I can remember (don't Boomer me, okay?) when religious cults were seen as such a problem that you could get a job as a "de-programmer." (This was a big thing in the 70's.) Parents would hire them to remove (sometimes downright abduct) their brainwashed teenage children, then put them in a room, for hours at a time, day after day, tag-teaming them, doing exactly what Raindrops1984 was doing to his/her friend: "torturing" them with facts and logic and common sense till they just broke down and went sane.

Millennials even in their 30s are emotionally arrested by our dumbed-down education system. They have the emotional maturity of juveniles. They need to be de-programmed even worse than those cult-brainwashed teens of the 70's. Because the cult is nationwide--it is an entire political movement made of emotionally damaged, mentally underdeveloped young people, led by crooks and exploited by corrupt politicians.
